I'm Ree, aka Admin, and I'll be your board leader here. I am in charge of the whole shebang because I am the one who is working on the site at 0300 hours, or something like that. I log in as Ree to participate and to check the board settings, and as Admin to fix and test stuff -- it's my work hat.
When asking for help, please keep the following in mind:
- Questions about a specific story should go to the story leader(s). Check the forums index for the "Moderated by:" line below the story title, and pick one of the names.
- Questions about a character are best addressed to that character's writer, if they can't be answered by checking the character's Twine entry.
- Moderators have mod rights in some forums but not others, so make sure the moderator you're asking for help is one who is able to help with your problem.
- Error messages and other technical glitches always go to Admin, because there's a good chance Admin is the one who borked it in the first place. :P
- Spam and posts with off-topic content should be reported by clicking the Report link at the end of the post and completing the brief form there (it will ask why the post is being reported. If it's spam, give your reason as "spam," and so on). That ensures the administration knows about the problem and can deal with it accordingly. One spammer has already been banned -- I won't hesitate to ban sources of blatant spam.
When emailing Ree/Admin:
- Technical questions or bugs (the link for blibbittyblah sends me to /home/user/somethingorother and says "page not found" -- what's going on?) go to Admin.
- General questions (how do I get or upload an avatar?) and story questions (is it okay if I say my character already knows yours?) can go to Ree.
- Anything involving Ree as a roleplayer, not an administrator, always goes through the Ree account.
